Auto Body Shop Orlando Florida ,Apopka, Casselberry, Oviedo, Longwood, Maitland, Winter Springs, Altamonte Springs, Sanford, Heathrow, Celebration, Kissimmee, Baldwin park, Waterford Lakes, Windermere, Metro West, Lake Mary,Kissimmee This section will answer many questions you have not only about Collision on Wheels but body shop and painting in general. What we do and what we can’t. Why does a body shop charge so much and what we can do for you right at your home or office. Q, What kinds of work can you do at my house? A, We do traditional body work and painting on site. As many as three to four panels at a time per day on average. We do not because of the limitations of the Van not the Tech; do any structural damage like frames, core supports or heavy ¼ panel damage. We will recommend our partner shop to you for that kind of work. Q, Can you replace anything that is beyond repair? A, Yes we can replace and paint Bumpers, Fenders, Hoods and even Doors right at you home. We also install mirrors, trim, headlights etc. Q, How can you match my paint? A, We have an on board computer along with your cars paint code to formulate the exact match for your car. We mix the paint right there so we know its right. Most damage unless it is on a Bumper only may require a blend into the next panel so the color looks even. Fresh paint on a faded car will make the rest look dull for a while; we will give the best advice on what is the best for your car. Q, Why do say you can save me money and time? A, All traditional Body shops Remove and Install many items on the car that we feel are unnecessary for the job you’re looking for. If the door handle or molding isn’t in need of repair or painting we then we just tape it up or go around it. We still clear coat the panel but with so many body lines available we have a special blender that blends into the existing clear coat making it unnecessary to more than required. Q, How will the job turn out, will it look factory fresh? A, Doing this outside mobile does have some challenges as even with our inflatable shelter dirt can land on the panel during the critical clear coat process but as our drying method is faster we can usually wet sand and buff the same day to get rid of any imperfections.  Most body shops do wet sanding as well, there is no perfect environment. There drying process is longer so that's why your car takes so long. Wet sanding also will match your cars “orange peel”. I.e. The waves in the gloss as you look into finish. Some cars have none, completely flat and others come from the factory with quite a bit. We can explain what that all means when we come out for your “Free” estimate. Q, What about those small non paint damage dings I get at the store? A, Small dings without paint damage can in most cases be taken out by a tech who does PDR. We do some PDR dent removal and can do it when were at your home for the "Free Estimate". Paintless dent removal uses rods to massage the dent out from the inside. We use a slide hammer for dent removal. Not all paintless dents can be done or can be done 100%. Let us help you determine which kind of dent removal you need. My partner in PDR I can recommend to you. Paintless dents larger than a baseball are questionable and depending on which panel, a crease or through a body line may need to be fixed traditionally by us to get it back 100%.
